What, exactly, are you giving away?
We're giving away a website package valued at over $4,000. It includes a fully custom website design by Element Fusion's world-class designers through our Custom Xpress service (retail price of $1995). Plus, it includes one year of free hosting on our easy-to-use content management system software (retail price of up to $199/month or $2,388/year). The end result will be world-class website with content that the organization can manage themselves with easy-to-use tools. It includes advanced features like blogs, podcasts, videos, forms, donations, payments, calendars and more.
Why are you asking others to help find and choose the right organization?
Accepting nominations from the public will allow us to consider organizations that we may not yet know about. In addition, holding a public vote on our finalists has two major advantages. First, it lets the community have a part in choosing who receives this award. But even more importantly, it lets us share the stories of all of our finalist organizations. We hope to discover some truly amazing benevolent work and to be able to share that with the world through this program.
Who is eligible for the website donation?
Any registered, non-profit organization with operations based in Oklahoma is eligible to receive the website donation.
How do I nominate a non-profit for the giveaway? Can I nominate my own non-profit?
You may nominate any non-profit organization, including your own, by filling out our nomination form.
What criteria will be used to select finalists for the donation?
Element Fusion will select finalists at its discretion. In general, we are looking for compelling stories that demonstrate the value of the organization to our community. Some criteria that may be considered include the work that the non-profit organization does, how the organization benefits our community, the current state of the non-profit organization's website, and the perceived potential of the organization to fully utilize the capabilities of Element Fusion's CMS website software.
Will Element Fusion contact the organizations that are nominated?
We will not contact every nominee, but we will contact all organizations that are selected as finalists. We will secure permission from the organization to participate as a finalists in our public vote before listing anything about them on our website.
How will the winner be selected?
After receiving permission from each finalist, Element Fusion will put the finalists and their stories up for a public vote on this website. The public vote will be weighed in along with input from Element Fusion's selection panel in choosing the final winner.
