There are many choices for domain registrars that you can use to transfer your domain. We recommend Go Daddy because of their excellent support, ease of use tools, and great prices. Below you will see the steps to take to transfer your domain to Go Daddy.
- Go to http://www.godaddy.com.
- Under the Domains tab, click on Transfer Domains to Go Daddy link.
- Next, enter the domain name that you are transferring and click the GO! button.
- Click on the Checkout button.
- You can choose to add more domain extensions or just click on the No Thanks button.
- Scroll down to the "5. Select Checkout Preference:" heading and click the radio button next to "No thanks. I'm ready to checkout." and Click on the Continue button.
- Select your payment method and Agree to the Terms of Service.
- Click Continue With Checkout button.
- If you do not have a Go Daddy account you will need to fill out the information to receive an account and continue on in the payment process.
Once you complete this process an email will be sent to us letting us know that you would like to transfer your domain. We will then send you back an Authorization ID that you will need to complete the process.
When the domain name transfer is completed. You will need to send your Go Daddy username and password to
support@publishpath.com. This will allow us to login and point your nameservers to the correct place and the process of moving your domain name and DNS will be fully completed.
