- Superior Design
- Clean Design
- Great UI (User Interface) for ease of navigation
- Use of CSS and web standards
- CMS backend architecture (Content Management Systems like Water, Sky and Light)
- Good Portfolio
- Small Firm (lower overhead, lower prices)
- Programming and development capabilities were a plus
- The company's own website had to look as good as he hoped his site would become
