Today, Inc. Magazine announced its 2008 Inc. 5000, a listing of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America. We're pleased to announce that Element Fusion has been named to the list in our first qualifying year.
Element Fusion's growth of 257.8% from 2004-2007 places us at #1,469 nationally in this year's listing. We join only 40 other Oklahoma-based companies and only 20 other Oklahoma City metro area companies on the list.
Inc. Magazine is a highly-regarded resource for entrepreneurs and businesses. Their article accompanying the release of the list today offers the following analysis of the list on a macro level.
Slightly fewer than half of the companies on this year's list are
repeaters from last year. In what is perhaps a reflection of the
sluggish economy, the total revenue on this year's list is less than
last year's: $185.4 billion compared to $194.5 billion for the 2007
companies. But average three-year growth on the 2008 list is
considerably higher: 334 percent compared to 295 percent for the 2007
list.
