We're entering the third week since we opened nominations for our website giveaway, and I just wanted to remind everyone that nominations will close this Friday, September 26th, at 4pm central time. So, if you've got a non-profit in mind that you want to nominate but haven't yet sent in their information, now is the time! Use our nomination form to submit your nominations.
We're excited about the response we've had and look forward to the selection process. Just as a reminder, here's what will happen once the nominations have closed:
- Next week, we'll be presenting the nominations to our selection panel for them to cast their votes. The selection panel's votes will help us to narrow down our list to a group of finalists.
- Once we've selected our finalists, we'll be contacting each finalist organization to inform them of their selection and to obtain their permission to participate in the finalist vote.
- On October 6th, we'll post our list of finalists along with information about each organization and begin the public vote which will help us select a winner. The vote will remain open through October 17th.
- On October 21st, we'll announce the winner.
We look forward to continuing the selection process. Help us out by spreading the word about this last week of nominations.
