Ok, I was a little late about promoting the Smashing Magazine giveaway, so to make up for it, I'm putting you in front of another great giveaway. This one comes from one of our own Light resellers, HotPressWeb.com. HotPress Web is a Denver Colorado web design company that rebrands Light and sells it to their own clients. Anyway, HotPress Web is giving away a website package valued at $5,000 to a charity, church or non-profit. I think this is great. Of course, it gives them some great marketing exposure, but it also provides a nice service to some very deserving organizations. And what's really great is that the donated website will be setup to run on our own content management system, Light.
HotPress Web has done this before. In fact, the last website they gave away was to the Cunningham Foundation, which is a charity that helps the people of Ethiopia. Check out their completed site (which, incidentally, runs on Light) to see the quality of website we're talking about here.
So, how do I enter?
Alright, so if you are a non-profit, church or charity, you are eligible to enter the HotPress Web contest. Click here to visit the application page on the HotPress Web website. You have until September 30th, 2007 to submit your application (see, I've given you plenty of time!).
And, just so you know, here's what Steve Thiel, managing partner at HotPress Web has to say about the judging process:
"The process for selecting an applicant will be fairly subjective. We want to get involved with more than the organization's website - we desire to work with people who are passionate and really making a difference in society."
