As of 3:45pm on Tuesday, December 11th, power has been restored to our corporate headquarters. Our team has been working hard throughout the day from remote locations, and will be back in the office on Wednesday. Our phone systems have also been restored so we will be able to answer your calls to our corporate number at 405.948.8300.
Though 80% of our hosted systems were unaffected by this outage (including our content management applications, Water, Sky and Light), our team has been working hard to restore the remaining 20%. During the day today, our team removed the servers from our local data center, moved them to remote locations with power, and began transferring all standard-hosted websites and custom applications to our Dallas data center. We are happy to report that as of 5:00pm on Tuesday, 90% of all Element Fusion websites and applications have been restored to full functionality at their new home in our Dallas data center. We will continue to migrate the remaining 10%, which includes some of our custom client applications, until everything is fully operational and complete. Not only have the sites been restored, but they have now been moved to a vastly superior hosting environment and will remain there from this point forward.
We apologize to everyone who experienced any amount of downtime during this transition. We take our hosting obligations very seriously and we are excited that as a result of this move, now all Element Fusion products, custom applications and websites will be hosted in our Dallas data center, which provides tier four hosting with full redundancy on all critical systems, including multiple power grids, multiple generator backups with onsite fuel storage, multiple fiber internet connections, multiple HVAC systems, and physical security. It just doesn't get any better when it comes to hosting environments. This dramatic improvement minimizes the risk of downtime for all of our clients for the future.
