Introducing Element Fusion's Interns

It's time to introduce you to a couple of faces here around the Element Fusion offices. Back in April, we launched Element Fusion's internship program and found ourselves some phenomenal interns. They've been working with us for a while, but we just now got them out of their intern dungeon long enough to take pictures of them. Their eyes were still adjusting to the unfamiliar light of day, but we were still able to snap some photos that we will share with you here, along with their very own auto-biographies.

Becki Anders and Joseph Donley, Element Fusion Interns, outside EF headquarters in Oklahoma City

About Becki Anders

Overwhelmed by the sheer joy she feels each day working at EF, Becki jumps and, to her surprise, discovers she that she can fly

I'm an IT major at Oklahoma City University. Unless my parents win the lotto, I plan to graduate next year. I'm still looking at school for about another five years. My objective is a combined JD & MBA. I want to apply a business and technical foundation to a legal profession.

My Element Fusion internship gives me the opportunity to work with two things that I'm excited about — e-commerce and cyber-security. I am counting on some of the talent from the Element Fusion team to rub off on me. In turn, I hope that my excitement and motivation will contribute positively to the people at Element Fusion.

My hobbies include being involved in organizations at OCU and volunteering in the community. l also love baking bread (yes, eating it is the motivation) although, I can't cook anything else. One advantage of a college-level education is that I can spell "take out."

About Joseph Donley

Awestruck by Becki's flight and equally filled with joy, Joseph also jumps, but ends up falling breakdancing on the lawn instead

I was attending Francis Tuttle Technology Center studying programming and software development when I started my internship here at Element Fusion. In the past couple of months, I've learned so much here that I've decided to change course with my studies and join up as a full-time intern for EF. My plan is to learn as much as I can here and then pursue whatever career opportunities are open to me. I would love to master programming and development and eventually work my way up to project management in the development arena. I hope to give my full effort and ability to whatever projects Element Fusion throws my way.

For fun, I like tinkering with computers, listening to many genres of music, and reading (mostly SciFi and Horror and a few comics, including Hellboy). I also play a little guitar though I am out of practice.

I am married with one son who is seven months old and the biggest focus and joy of my life right now.

I thought Joseph was so joy filled that he was levitating.

As your Francis Tuttle instructor I'd like to say that what you learned in school helped you get the internship. And, you are right. Once the fundamentals are set, there is nothing better than work experience especially in what appears to be such an inspiring culture. I'm happy you have been given a chance to stay on. You were an outstanding student and I am sure equally outstanding intern. Good luck to you. marc

Thanks Marc. For everything. If it wasn't for the skill I gained from your teaching I wouldn't be working at this amazing internship today.

Becki's flying, Joseph's practicing his balance. I wasn't aware it was a Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon internship.
