LightCMS: new look, new name

Today, we are launching a new look and a new name for the Light content management system. Henceforth, Light shall be known as LightCMS. The brand name change is intended to provide more clarity and information through the product name so that the fact that it is a CMS system is made evident right off the bat.

Along with the new name comes a completely redesigned product website. The new site features an expansion of content and a slick, new look and feel.

Here are a couple things I really love about the new site:

  1. An entirely new section called "Why LightCMS" that answers a lot of questions and explains the many benefits of the software.
  2. A design gallery displaying a few of the websites that are running on Light. Several of the designers who are using our system are featured here in this gallery, as well as a few of our own designs.
