We've got another oft-requested feature queued up for release tomorrow morning. It's CAPTCHA verification on forms. This includes forms on Icebrrg, as well as forms built using the form builder in our LightCMS, SkyCMS and WaterCMS systems.
CAPTCHA verification is a method of reducing spam by requiring your users to correctly enter a series of characters that are displayed randomly using an image in order to submit the form. Utilizing CAPTCHA greatly improves the odds that the form submission you are receiving comes from an actual human and not a machine.
It's super easy to use. Simply visit "Advanced Settings" under "Form Settings" and check the box labeled "Use CAPTCHA." This will add the CAPTCHA element to your form, which will be a required element. That's it, you're done. Take a look at the image below for a visual idea of how it works.
The release is scheduled for 8am CDT (GMT -5) on Thursday, September 18th.
