We've added yet another free design, in two color variations, to our WaterCMS, SkyCMS and LightCMS products. This template is available on all sites in the system. To find it, login to your site and visit My Website --> Designs --> Design Gallery. There you can apply the design to your website, or even download the source code of the design so you can use it as a starting point for your own work.
Special considerations
This design has a few fancy features that require some special consideration.
- Home page login element. If you click the "member login" button on the home page, a login window overlays in a separate layer. PLEASE NOTE: you need to add a login element to this login window before it will function properly. Instructions are provided on the template (click "member login" to see them).
- Rotating features. The home page also contains a set of three image/text combinations that rotate automatically like a slideshow. The contents of these three features are included in regions, so you can edit/replace them with the CMS tools when logged in. You can also add more "slides" to the set by editing the home.html template. Simply copy and paste one of the existing sets and increment the id numbers as needed. If you are not comfortable making edits like this, no problem — you can simply use the three existing slides and edit them with the CMS tools.
