Local CBS affiliate KWTW News 9 recently featured one of our most recent projects, the LifeChurch.tv Internet Campus, on their nightly news broadcast.
It was cool to see how excited the people were at LifeChurch about it. The Internet Campus was definitely one of my most interesting projects to work on. The Internet Campus streams LifeChurch's Sunday service. Around the Media Player that plays the video stream are several controls that utilize AJAX technology allowing LifeChurch to push content to the user. This can include links to other information, email links to talk with church staff members, and opportunities to donate. The staff can even push poll questions or calls to action which allow the end user to send responses back to LifeChurch.tv in real time. I've been watching the services since they've been running and last Sunday the attendance was around 300 for the 10am service and 200 for the 11:30am. You can view the lobby page here.
