Here's a post I found very interesting on the Vitamin blog.  It's "Read More ... About Progressive Disclosure," by Robert Hoekman, Jr.

Progressive disclosure is a concept that has become extremely important to web based application design, but, as this article demonstrates, it is actually critical to a lot of disciplines.  I am pretty impressed with Hoekman's careful illustration of progressive disclosure using a newspaper article as an example.  Not that this is a groundbreaking revelation, but it's interesting to see the direct comparison of what many consider to be an antiquated medium (print newspaper) to the cutting edge of web application technology.
