Here's an idea for those of you who resell websites on our LightCMS system to your own clients. I'm sure many of you have already considered this, but I thought it was worth a mention.
We recently released our new Design Xpress service. This is a service where we take one of our free website templates (see all of our current templates), and customize it for a business or organization with their own logo, images and information. The service provides an inexpensive, customized design that can be produced and deployed quickly on the CMS.
As a reseller, you could actually offer the same thing to your own clients. All of our design templates are available for download with their full source code, giving you the ability to edit and modify them just like we do through our Design Xpress. As long as the website you are developing ends up running on our CMS system, you have full rights to utilize and modify our templates however you see fit.
So, if it fits your business, why not set up your own Design Xpress service. Call it whatever you want. Price it however you want. You could even create your own packages around it with lower prices for minor customizations and higher pricing for more in-depth work. These types of services can help you reach a group of clients who may not be able to afford fully custom design. You'll be providing them quality design on a solid CMS with quick turnaround and affordable cost.
