We're making some major upgrades to the hosting situation on four of our products. The Water, Sky, and Light content management systems as well as our form-builder product, Icebrrg, will be moved next week to a brand new server in a brand new home.
The new server will be located in the INFOMART telecom hotel in Dallas. This facility is the largest internet hub in the southern United States and it just doesn't get any better as far as hosting facilities go. The tier one datacenter facility has five redundant fiber optic connections to the internet from five different providers, three redundant power grids plus generator and battery backup, redundant HVAC cooling equipment, physical security ... you get the idea.
The new environment should give confidence to all of our customers about the security of their websites and online forms. Plus, the new server itself will provide greatly improved processing and bandwidth which should result in a noticeable improvement in speed and response.
We're very excited about the move and we'll be throwing a party up here at midnight on May 1st when we make the switch. If this move affects you in any way, you should have already been notified by email. But, if you have any questions at all, please visit the server upgrades section of our support site or email us and let us know.
